About
Morag Seaton is a Scottish designer and maker working in London. Having graduated from the Glasgow School of Art (BA Fashion 2018) and the Royal College of Art (MA Fashion 2023), she has received multiple awards for fashion design, the dissertation prize and the John Byrne Writing Award for her book ‘Garment Stories’. Morag has worked in sectors across fashion, design, arts, research and education. She is the co-founder of Worn.

Morag is her name and the name of her design studio where she makes books, clothes and other fashion objects such as bags and pockets. Each carefully constructed object is inspired by conversations with people about their clothing experiences, understandings and fictional ideas. Each project starts with an everyday or speculative question that seeks to unpack the socio-cultural, environmental and personal significance of the objects we wear.
